Canyon Ranch Lenox

The serious wellness pick: structured, all-inclusive and expensive, built for resetting, not sightseeing.
You want a structured wellness stay where every meal and class is handled
You want to spend your days out at museums and restaurants
A 126-room wellness resort built around the 1897 Bellefontaine mansion, with a huge spa and fitness complex connected to the guest rooms. Rates are per person and include all meals, snacks, fitness classes and talks, plus a nightly spa and fitness credit. The spa and lounges were redesigned with a Shaker-inspired look.
I recommend it for solo travelers, friends and couples who want a real health reset with hikes, classes and treatments on a schedule. The trade-off is price and pace: it's one of the most expensive stays in New England, the mood is quiet and early-to-bed, and the 3-night packages are where the value is.
Key Amenities & Experiences
