Riverside is themed to the old South along the Sassagoula River, with mansion-style buildings in Magnolia Bend and rustic bayou buildings in Alligator Bayou. It is one of the prettiest moderates, and the grounds are great for evening walks.
The rooms are being reimagined through mid-2027, with Magnolia Bend finished and Alligator Bayou in progress. Alligator Bayou rooms sleep five, which helps families. The trade-off is transportation: buses to every park and a boat to Disney Springs.
