Ko'a Kea Resort on Po'ipu Beach
Koloa, Kauaʻi, Hawaii
A small oceanfront boutique hotel on Poʻipū Beach, with Red Salt restaurant on site. Great for couples.
You want something intimate and right on the water, without the size of a big resort.
You need kids' programs or lots of pools.
Koʻa Kea is a small, adult-feeling hotel on the Poʻipū coast, right on the water. It's a calmer alternative to the big South Shore resorts, and Red Salt is one of the better hotel restaurants on the island.
It's an easy walk to Poʻipū Beach Park, where you can snorkel and often see turtles and monk seals. Couples and honeymooners tend to love it.
