The Shore Club Turks and Caicos
Long Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
A quieter Long Bay alternative to Grace Bay, with one of the island's biggest spas and plenty of room for families.
You want a newer luxury resort with a big spa and suites with kitchens, away from the busier Grace Bay strip.
You want to walk to restaurants every night. Long Bay is a drive from Grace Bay, and it's breezy, which is why kiteboarders love it.
The Shore Club sits on Long Bay Beach on the island's south-east side, a calmer, less developed stretch than Grace Bay. It's a full-service resort with a large spa, multiple pools, tennis, water sports and a kids club.
I like it for families and couples who want space and a newer property, and for anyone interested in kiteboarding, since Long Bay is one of the best spots for it. Plan on a car or taxis if you want to eat around Grace Bay.
