The Grand Hyatt is the classic Kauaʻi resort for families. It sits on the South Shore at Poʻipū, the island's sunniest side, with gardens, waterfalls and one of the best pool setups in Hawaii.
The saltwater lagoon is a big help, because the ocean at Shipwreck Beach is usually too rough for little kids. Anara Spa is open-air and large, and Poʻipū Bay golf course is right next door.
