The classic, elegant Paradise Island resort, with Versailles-style gardens and a long, quiet beach.

You want old-school Bahamas glamour and a calm beach, close to Nassau's airport.

You want a waterpark scene. Atlantis is next door for that, but this resort is quiet.

The Ocean Club has been on Paradise Island since 1962, and it still feels like a private estate. Low-rise buildings sit within terraced gardens modeled on Versailles, along a long stretch of white sand.

It's a refined option for honeymooners and families who want quiet, with Atlantis right next door if the kids want a waterpark day.
