The St. Regis is Aspen's largest luxury hotel, a red-brick resort at the base of Aspen Mountain a few minutes' walk from the Silver Queen Gondola. You get a heated outdoor pool open year-round, the RAKxa Wellness Spa with a cold plunge, steam and grotto, Velvet Buck for breakfast and Mountain Social for après.
I recommend it for families and Marriott Bonvoy members who want room to spread out and resort amenities. The trade-off is that it feels more corporate than Hotel Jerome or The Little Nell, and you still walk to the lift.
