EPCOT Travel Guide
EPCOT is the park I recommend most for adults, but it works for families too. You get Guardians of the Galaxy and Test Track up front, then a walk around eleven countries of food and drinks in World Showcase. It's a big park, so wear real shoes.

You can walk or take a boat from the BoardWalk, Yacht and Beach Club and Swan and Dolphin to the back entrance. The Skyliner runs from the Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Art of Animation, and the monorail connects to the main entrance from the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Ride the big attractions in the morning, then do World Showcase from late afternoon into Luminous. Weekend evenings get crowded with locals during festivals, so I steer clients toward weekdays.
A 1-day ticket starts around $129 before tax and climbs on holiday dates. Multi Pass runs about $20 to $37 per person, and Guardians of the Galaxy is a separate Single Pass ($14 to $25), plus festival food adds up quickly.
As of November 2026, Food & Wine runs through November 21 and Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 to December 30. During the holiday festival, Living with the Land runs as Glimmering Greenhouses, and Spaceship Earth is expected to close for a reimagining in 2027.

When is the best time to visit EPCOT for festivals?
Food & Wine runs through November 21, 2026, and Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 to December 30. I like weekday afternoons for festival booths because weekend evenings get packed with locals.
Is Lightning Lane worth it at EPCOT?
If Guardians of the Galaxy is a must, the Single Pass is worth it on busy days. Multi Pass is a nice extra for Frozen, Remy and Test Track, but you can skip it if you rope drop and plan to spend the afternoon eating in World Showcase.
Can I drink around the world at EPCOT?
Yes, you can buy drinks in every World Showcase country and walk with them. Pace yourself, drink water, and book a ride home instead of driving.
Is EPCOT good for kids?
More than people think. Frozen Ever After, Remy, Journey of Water, The Seas and the Kidcot stops in each country keep younger kids happy, and Test Track and Guardians cover older ones.
Should I ride Spaceship Earth now?
If you love the classic version, yes. Disney plans to close it for a major reimagining, expected sometime in 2027, and it'll likely be down for a long stretch.
