You want views, quiet and a romantic base above the crowds, with a hotel boat to get you down to the water.

Caruso sits at the top of Ravello in a palace that dates back to the 11th century, with gardens, vaulted stone rooms and views down the whole coastline. The infinity pool is the photo everyone knows, and it lives up to it.
Ravello is quieter than Positano or Amalfi, which is the appeal. You're close to Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and the hotel runs a boat along the coast so you still get time on the water.
