A big stone-and-timber resort right at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, with ski valets who handle your gear and a heated outdoor pool that steams in January. The dining has been reworked around Steadfire Chophouse, and the hidden 80 Proof speakeasy is the fun surprise.
I recommend it for families and skiers who want everything handled, and for summer couples who want a resort base close to Grand Teton. The trade-off: Teton Village is quiet at night and about 25 minutes from Jackson's restaurants, and peak weeks are among the most expensive in the West.
