A locally owned boutique hotel a block from Town Square, built with reclaimed barn wood, leather and wool in a warm Western style. A recent expansion added Juliette, a rooftop restaurant and cocktail spot over downtown, plus a spa and new suites.
I recommend it for couples and food lovers who want a smaller hotel with real personality and two of the better restaurants in town on site. The trade-off: rooms are boutique-sized next to the big resorts, and you'll need the car or a shuttle for skiing and the park.
