A cool, design-led boutique hotel in the old center, near Campo de' Fiori and the Ghetto. Great value for the location.
You want to walk everywhere, like a hip, younger feel and would rather spend on dinners than on the room.
You want a classic five-star with big rooms, a spa or a pool.

Chapter Roma is tucked behind an old door on a side street in Regola, a few minutes' walk from Campo de' Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto and the Tiber. It's a four-star hotel with a creative, slightly irreverent personality, and it's one of the most-booked Rome hotels among advisors.
It's best for travelers who'd rather be out in the city than in the hotel. The restaurant and summer rooftop are a good scene, and the price is friendly for such a central address.
