Hudson's best hotel: a stylish old factory with a real bathhouse, steps from Warren Street.

You want silence, acreage and a country-estate feel

A 46-room hotel in an 1883 textile mill and pocketbook factory that covers a full city block, opened in fall 2025. The Baths downstairs have warm and cold plunge pools and a sauna, Ambos serves Argentine-leaning dinners with Hudson Valley ingredients, and there's a cafe, a lounge and a basement club.
This is where I put clients who want Hudson's antique shops, galleries and restaurants on foot, especially anyone coming by Amtrak without a car. The trade-off is that it's a city hotel with city energy, not a quiet country retreat, and weekend rates jump in the fall.

The stay, in detail
Rooms
Rooms range from Weekend Studios with queen beds to Bathing Studios and Corner Suites with sofa beds. I'd pay up for a Bathing Studio or a suite.
Pools and beach
The Baths replace a pool: three indoor pools including warm and cold plunges, a sauna and a steam room, open to hotel guests.
Dining
Ambos is the main restaurant, with an all-day cafe and bar, a lounge with DJ nights and Ether, the basement club.
